I am sorry to announce that the Shimizu Port Flower festival was canceled to prevent the spread of COVID-19 by avoiding the 3Cs and refraining from non-essential outings. According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, Typhoon Hagibis (No.19) is forecast to approach Shizuoka Prefecture, where the Port of Shimizu is located, over this weekend (12-13 Oct). Strong winds, heavy rain, high waves and storm surges are expected in the affected areas. If you are currently in the affected area, please be careful.
