No swimming at Miho-Uchihama beach_COVID-19

The City of Shizuoka has decided not to open Miho-Uchihama beach this year amid the new corona virus outbreak in spite of where the beach usually opens for public from July to August every year. The  swimming or bathing area has not been designated, and no lifesavers will be stationed.

The decisions are aimed at preventing crowding at beaches in order to reduce the risk of infection with the novel corona-virus.  Please refrain from swimming in such areas to ensure safety.
